COOOL! I'm glad more and more are discovering this inexpensive way to inhance their models and opening a whole new level of model detailing by adding cockpit interiors such as instrument panels, seats, control yokes, etc.,
For doing windshields for the Cessna 172, copy the windshield on regular typing paper. Cut out the windshield area where the glass would be. Apply tape to both sides and cut out. To attach the top of the canopy to the wing I use a small strip of tape and I glue the sides to the fuselage using testors plastic glue. I usually extend the windshield sides by a 16th of an inch to glue to the sides of the fuselage.
