My dentist is in the Weiße Gasse and once I week I cross the river at night-time on my way to singing lessons, and there is this moment when (almost) all people in the tram turn around to look at the old town, which is then illuminated. It's very amusing, but the view IS wonderful.

I have always wanted to visit dresden. My grand father told me many stories of this beautiful city. he never actually set foot on dresden but he flew over it 15 times. He said it looks rather nice through a bombsite
