Do not comment on something that you don't know what your talking about. The russian military is in a pathetic state. With the exception of the spetsnaz, most of their soldiers are poorly trained conscripts. Oh and i'd take an experienced national gardsmen over any unexperienced commando from any country, any day.

It seems my throwaway comment on a rubbish video caused some nightmares? I would have thought German SF are almost certainly ahead of both Russian and Israeli. Too many people say "Wow! X is my fave!" kind of displaying bias. I merely commented on all types in a loose way. I'm sure all could kill me. Anyone who strongly claims a nations SF's are 1st, 2nd or X clearly is a fool. I love Russia, I'm not biased against any one country but the video showed a less than impressive display...

not if u look at this certian video on youtube there is an american and a british soldier in a humvee they are shot at the american starts screaming, ranting and swearing whereas the british soldier calmly directs other soldier to where the shooting was coming from. While the yank is shitting his pants.

By the way, I go to one of the best school in the USA. It's strange becasue kids are so stupid here. I am junior this year and all we cover in this great university was covered in Russian high school.

When was the last time any special force had to rescue 300 kids from a boobytraped building full of suicide bombers ? Yeah they lost a lot people there ..do you know why because those kids were running around the building setting off boobytraps ..spetsnaz had to cover those kids with their own body to safe their life

Im russian and yes the dragunov is excellent for it is designed yet the SV-98 is nothing special... the american bolt action snipers are better. They have a better MOA which is the area in which these types (sv-98, m-24, m700 etc) are designed to shine in.
