  • so emotional to hear that this song and his whole album 'never say never' is about his wife who was killed in a car accident a couple of years ago. it's emotional, but not drippy, with a soulful expression. it's soulful and deep, a beautiful love song to his wife. R.I.P. Kim McLagan

  • Awesome song. Awesome performance. Soul to burn.

  • lovely song. Soulful Ian. Saw him in Belfast recently. Great night.

  • Yeahhhhhhh...: ) : ) : )

  • Mark Andes. This guy shows up everywhere. He's a very nice humble man too. I met him a couple of times in Denver back in the 70's. Just chatted about his P bass among Spirit related stuff.

  • This could've been a Faces song

  • Mac should be in the R&R Hall of Fame in a category all to himself for having the greatest rock and roll haircut of all time. His whole career he always sported the coolest mane. Then he goes gray and what happens? His hair looks even better!! How crazy is that?!!

  • A right tearjerker god bless ya Mac

  • This man belongs in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Small Faces have been eligible since '91, when both Ronnie and Stevie were still alive.

    Whatcha gonna do about it?

  • Great band...Great tune...Thanks Mac !!!!

  • Saw this Song performed w/John Mayer @ the Troubadour in Los Angeles back in August. I really liked it--That's what brought me here:)

  • Sad tune. His wife died in a traffic accident in Texas in 2006...they'd been married almost 30 years. I wonder if this song is about her?

  • @jonnytx hi jonny yes it is my friend there is a great interview on here

  • Real classy guy.

Having ol' "Flamin' Red" Griffin (one of my favorite singers, ever) on back-up was a great idea, too.

  • I've always greatly admired David because he really leads the way of ALL talk-show hosts in getting THE BEST music artists and he really LOVES Rock music!

  • That's a gret point! He seems to show his appreciatio of their talents, and very often apparent friendships. Plus, he digs Billy Bragg!!!

  • Yep, you're right there. And, of course, Paul Shaffer loves all kinds of great music. Remember when Ronnie Wood w/Mac and Bernard Fowler played "Stay With Me" in the early 90s? Paul was a happy fella.

  • great band..the drumer is maniak:-))i love it ..and the backvocal is cool..greetings from Bulgaria ..

  • That's such a good song...

  • What a terrific piece. It also takes me back to seeing the Faces in '75.
