Before giving my biased and negative comment about the wonderful people of America, could one of you please tell me why the vast majority, vast majority according to what I've encountered, hate Iraq so much? What have they done to you?
You sold the weapons to Saddam Hussein, consequently you invaded their country with brute force.
@Daski69 FOX News fosters paranoid nationalism through slanted and biased journalism and unabashedly ultraconservative pundits. This is coupled with a very subpar and underfunded public education system and an entire religious subset that would rather their kids receive an even more subpar (or often non-existent) "home-schooling" education administered by them to keep the kids away from Godless secularism.
You can't blame most Americans for their ignorance.
@ZrazorRozenstrauch Thank you. That Americans are brainwashed not by their own hereditary upbringing legacy is a fact well known to me and most Europeans. I merely wanted to see if there were any free minds out there that wouldn't receive me with a "They don't like my freedom"-rebuttal.
@Daski69 Also in reference to the actual question, most Americans don't hate Iraq or Iraqi people. They supported going to war because they were told by the afforementioned biased news media and the misinformed then-president that Saddam Hussein was harboring terrorists/indirectly responsible for 9/11/intended to use WMDs on the United States. They just don't care about the people over there that died because it doesn't have any direct effect on them.
@ZrazorRozenstrauch Yes, they care about the deceased American soldiers and appreciate "everything the boys are doing down there". Then I ask myself: how can even the most scornful patriots appreciate the practice of murdering children in an enemy country?
@Daski69 My cousin served in Afghanistan and didn't murder anyone. It's really a far more complex problem than you're making it out to be. An interesting moral dilemma would be an instance I heard of in which an American soldier had to shoot a child because the child was running at his patrol unit with a live hand grenade. Shooting a child is pretty terrible but somebody gave that kid a grenade and told him to run at the soldiers. Situation over there is kind of fucked all around.
@Daski69 But the main reason Americans hold soldiers in such high regard is of course because, as I just illustrated, these are family and friends, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters of ours. Most people who haven't had family serving in either Iraq or Afghanistan over the past seven years have known someone else who has. But our soldiers aren't just over there wantonly murdering children. Maybe cursing at them for amusement, but that's a relatively harmless thing to do in a war zone.

He had to be taken down. The big question is, why wouldnt we invade his country? Yeah not every civilian lived, they were either killed accidentally or by the iraqis themselves. The us mainly used precision weapons to take out the iraqi forces. There was no brutality to it at all.

Anyhow, even fewer people would've died had you left the country when you got the job done. Since no wmd's have been found and the American produced dictator is now neutralised, what the fuck gives you the right to stay in a foreign country policing their lives?
@Daski69 the argument isnt about grammar, you know what i mean. and how would fewer people have died if america let saddam insane invade saudi arabia? and america stayed to police the country since there was no longer any government after he was eliminated. instead of letting their country go straight to hell the military policed to keep things from getting out of hand.

Let's assume that letting Saddam stay in power would've been more detrimental to mankind than invading the country. You can't justify your stay being overdue because of the lack of a government. How do you justify the oil thing, btw?

@ThomasTHEtrain11 French legionnaires are tough specimen who are thrown on superior numbers, they are tough warriors and that's it. If we talk about military proficiency, the British SAS are have the best training. Finnish forces are somewhat lacking in resources due to their high budget/very high numbers but their training is second to none. I never said that most marines are criminals, nigger or wetback doesn't have to be synonymous to criminal, they're still wetbacks and spooks most of them.
