  • prepare for ORGASM/EARGASM people!!!! XD 90's music rules

  • fuck yeah LIVE AND NUDE!

  • actually they started on the independent label called Kong Fu records and then they switched on the MCA...I would be so happy if now they are on the independent label

  • they went Buddha-filter then the release on kung fu

cheshire cat was on grilled cheese/cargo

dude ranch/cargo/ MCA (because of increased distribution)

and then everything else was on MCA/geffen

  • they didnt start out on kung fu, but buddha was re-released on it in 1998

  • what bass tab this intro?

  • its the same root notes as the opening bass but with an extra note.

kind of do a power chord its played on the low E and a strings

  • nice pickslide tom!

  • Dude, the fucking intro is so awesome.

  • fuck yeah!

  • this song is called josie!

  • fuck MTV you Kill Blink

  • i dont think they did. blink's still on the same record label as they were at the start. they write all their own music, they write whatever music they want. all mtv did was get them more money to do what they wanted to

  • I think blink switched labels Cause im reading a book on them and i think it said they switched but i dont really know.

  • hmm ok. on their site it says 'geffen' for all of their albums from dude ranch onwards. i still dont think mtv killed them though, it just got them more money. they still stayed the same, and kept writing all their own stuff properly.

  • Oh alright my bad bro

  • actually you are probably right. i was just looking at all their albums in my CD rack then and they changed between buddha and cheshire cat, then again between cheshire cat and dude ranch, and then they didn't change again until the untitled album. their website says 'geffen' on all of them but that's not true

  • Geffen probably owns the rights to there old albums, idk maybe a joint ownage with the labels that released them idk.

but u dont see cheshire cat or buddha in stores cause they were released on indie labels.

  • @mynameistomilk i just bought buddha from a hot topic of all places,

  • @jake666123123 nice. i usually kind of dislike that store except for some shirts, and cds. like they have a good variety, but its turning into a poser, scene store lol.

  • @mynameistomilk ya i feel ya man. i was in their cause my friend said they had a nofx shirt. and i saw the record on the wall and i was suprised. but ya im not a fan of that place anymore. thats where all the pozer emo girls at my school shop.

  • @jake666123123 i like that they have nofx shirts and some good bands in there but the store just isnt for me haha, its all about vampires and nevershoutnever and lolololol

  • @mynameistomilk ya. i fuckin hate the twilight bullshit their. and the wierd emo techno shirts like dot dot curve, and l.m.f.a.o. lol

  • @jake666123123 twilights an okay movie. but its dumb that it became a phenomenon. right?

i just hate that they call everything punk nowadays, like escape the fate is punk, nevershoutnever is punk,

or the devil wears prada is hardcore.

nope. not at all. minor threat, circle jerks, black flag is hardcore. lol

  • @mynameistomilk ya. if the vampires turned into dust like vampires should wen they hit light i would mabey like it. but ya i cant stand the new punk stuff. i like the 80's and 90's punk. everything after 2004 kinda sux. punks not dead it just sux now. lol

  • @jake666123123 well just now that all the bands from the 80s and 90s are like kind of mainstream now, like too many emo kids know about nofx and nufan and blink, so it changes them but i still like em,

so not all punk after 2004 but like just whatever haha.

  • @mynameistomilk well the only punk after 2004 is stuff on fat wrecords like, teenage bottlerocket, no use for a name, ect. but ya man the emos took alot of good tunes and started cutting themselvs too it. lol why couldent emos listen to cher or somthing. lol

  • @jake666123123 yeah Nufan is always gonna be good.

nofx bad religion AFI AFI IS STILL GOOD not so much punk anymore but cant deny theyre amazing

  • @mynameistomilk ya he who laughs last is good, but that was back wen they were kinda punk. i think their kinda emo now like good charlotte. but i like good charlotte also.

  • @jake666123123 but still being punk influenced does not make you punk rock, it makes you punk influenced,

i like a few good charlotte songs too they just killed it with a techno record. and i dont like that they sound like blink, nfg, sum41,

  • @mynameistomilk ya. i agree. it seems like with sum 41 they have more of a metal influence than punk (in my opinion) , suicidal tendencies have kind of the metal thing goind on with them too.

  • @jake666123123 well their second and third album had definite metal influence, but then again those solos are just metal based completely.

  • @mynameistomilk ya the song '' cant bring me down '' most deff. does.

  • @jake666123123 yeahhh awesomeness and i like mr amsterdam a lot

  • @mynameistomilk ya thats a good sum song. i really like the hell song and no reason

  • "more money to do what they wanted to"

yeah thats true in a way. it was because of it was a better enviroment for all of the CD's they sold and better resources to tour more

  • mtv didnt do anything but air there music videos/interviews stuff like that.

the label releases theyre music kind of like book publishers publish books for the authors

  • so fucking cool!

  • this is blink ;/

  • Kick ass old school blink right there!

  • word up

    blink182 fo' life s0nz

  • Alright nob. stupid spam
