Well, presuming that a modern translation of the ancient Chinese language as "a dragon eats the sun" is a literal interpretation... is plain stupid, like as in superstitious. Egyptians may have forecast eclipses long before 585 BC. If I say "I ran out of water," then some future translator may think I was implying that I was physically in some water and then I ran out of that body of water. So, did the ancient Chinese astrologer PREDICT that a dragon would eat the sun accurately? That's science!
