Coloring in Photoshop CS4 - Part 1

for some reason i find photoshop easier than paint tool sai. I AM SO WEIRD XD

@xFurykTx I use a tablet. It's like the same thing as coloring with colored pencils.

How do you make it so the colors dont overlap?

My colors always get darker when i color over...even with the brush on 100% opacity.

Make sure you're using photoshop's default, hard brushes. Also, make sure that your brush's flow is at 100 percent. That might fix things.

Aw lol. Yeah photoshop does take some getting used to. There's just so many tools, but hey there are a bunch of beginner tutorials out there to help.

That was amazing! I really have trouble coloring in my pictures. =/ I guess it's because of my sloppy art style XD

Ah, but it's my first time using photoshop since I've been using Paint tool sai all this time. I have trouble making the line art on photoshop CS4...

Thanks! Yeah I also have trouble doing lines on photoshop. That's why I tend to work large scale so that when I resize the image, you can't see all the imperfections in the lines.

photo shop is one of the worst when it comes down to line drawing.

the best programs with inmense line tool quality is manga studio and alias sketch book pro.. check it out.
