This is the best video i have found on youtube demonstrating how to use firesteel properly. Myself like most were using it like you said, "a match" and not getting good results. It's a shame only 981 people have viewed this. The thousands of other people watching the other videos are probably still struggling to master their firesteel.
Maybe if it didn't take so long to load the video...
