that's some expensive gear there. i'm currently saving up for my first les paul. i want to get the same one you have assuming you're playing the studio faded model.
as for the amp. i've played mesa boogies before and they are monsters! i mainly played the dual rectifier and jeezus christ that thing had balls!
this is SICK.. so tasteful, great warm tone.. i've been wanting a LP for this reason.. thanks for the kind words, and check out my giveaway, if you're interested in winning a BB Preamp and some other stuff
Very nice demo. Such a sweet amp, and you're getting a nice sound with those EL34s. I wasn't happy with the ones I tried in mine, what kind are those? Try 6V6's sometime -- THAT's a sweet setup.
It don't take long to become a beleiver in the Les paul. I have 2 US Strats 2 Ibanez electrics, one JS 100 a Schecter, and the Les Paul is completley different than all. I can't put it down!!
Thanks for watching. The difference is small. I notice that the EL34s are tighter and take out some of the bass. From my experience this makes the neck pickup on the Les Paul less muddy and more useable. But I trully feel confortable playing out of either tube. thanks.
Semper Fi, could you let me know your settings
