Oh I know. It's hard to train him when everyone isn't on the same page. I make him sit at every corner when walking him and we wont move if he doesn't sit. My mom carries him out of the car (because he's still a baby), while I insist he can jump out- and he does with me. I only give him dog food and treats only (for the most part) when he sit on command, or pees outside while she feeds him treats all day and apparently "human food" (I didn't know this until xmas morning. He spends most of his

time with her because she works from home so the training is definitely NOT consistent. He pees at least once a day in the house, and my mom insists it's not his fault, that he has a small bladder, yet we leave the back door open so he can go in the backyard - yet he never does. He's really well behaved and intelligent for the most part- it's just the lack of consistency in training. If we talk in a stern voice to him to say "No" she claims we're being mean. lol It's a bit of a struggle.

Oh ya...that's hard..my cousins have a dog like that..and it doesn't know who its owner is..everyone loves him..but because of it..it still pees in the house ect.its over 2 now..Its because training isn't consistent. Your mom seems like a real sweetie..but she has to be more stern where training is involved..love him to death..but when he's good. I will not tolerate a dog that pisses in my house.16 weeks max A dog needs to know 1 owner [while being trained]~ I left bd open too :D

Another thing u can do...is use the word "Dirty"..when they go in the house..So its like.."no dirty in the house"..dirty outside!..kind of thing..lol..

...every one of my dogs..learned that word..really young and caught on really well..no shit..:D

..My dog too is "treasured"...but only if it behaves....Basically knows the sounds of my voice..when i'm serious..I say that cause i know ppl who spoil their dogs..and the thing is soft..not trained..my dogs know when i snap my fingers..Dogs listen well to that..~:)

Well I agree if the food is processed crap with preservatives (which humans get sick from too - if not immediately ;) ) However, I come from a family of ex-hippies and nearly everything is organic, fresh and preservative free for the most part. He doesn't normally eat like this either.
