@frunk2007 the whole creative part of the songwriting and recording industry thrives on 'borrowing' or 'stealing' and has since the beginning.The first thing RobertJohnson (blues guitar legend) did was learn evryone elses style and licks from radio and jukes.However on the business side there is the question of "getting a credit' for sumone using your stuff.Maybe it was PeterGrants` idea to not credit Bert??Doubtful, since Jimmy produced evrything, but sumtimes the artist doesnt know.

Thanks, I found Denny's version of BWS. I liked it but I'm partial to Briggs version. Altan, the Celtic band, also has a version. I believe it's the vibe that ties it all together. A vibe you've tapped into with your playing, I think. You inspire me to keep at it.

It looks to me like Bert Jansch used simple dropped D tuning in the video when he sings along on YT.

Cudos to Troubleclef for turning me on to Jansch, Briiggs, and Pentangle. I agree, without LZ, we wouldn't have heard of them. I believe it's Sandy Denny singing with Plant on "Going to California."
