As a Psychologist, I am very happy I included and implemented Neuro and Biofeedback in my practice. My clients feel and experience the results much sooner and are very happy. It has completely changed my practice as I now am able to help people more effectively and efficiently. I have also purchased Mrs.. Othemer's Protocol Guide, which has helped further enhance my interventions.
Neurofeedback has been so helpful to my husband with traumatic brain injury. It is no less than amazing and it is so important to educate more people about the benefits that ca be enjoyed by all people...PTSD, ADHD, depression, brain injury, and peak performance for those who are fortuate enough to not have any overt problem. Thank you Drs. Othmer for promoting nuerofeedback in such a positive way.
I would love to hear more about the benefits you have witnessed or experienced by training with neurofeedback. I am looking into trying to find this type of therapy for my brother who sustained a brain injury 2 years ago. He has problems with impulsivity, depression, etc. If possible, please reply. All information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
The combination of info from other professional's experience interspersed w/Sue's explainatios truly captures the excitment, authenticity & power of the work accurately and succently. Using the Othmer Model of NF has changed the way I do psychotherspy.
I have had both clinically monitored NF and also tried 2 home systems. Granted, this was years ago but the home systems were not effective. If we could afford it, or our insurance or PA State Medical Assistance paid for it, we'd do it again in a flash. It helped all of us so much!
Many practitioners will help individuals train at home. They will prescribe protocols,(where to place the sensors and for how long at what reward setting), and will follow clients and decide when to change the protocols.
Very well done--I am new to neurofeedback, but have already observed the enormous benefit to my clients. These professionals are all so down to earth, eager to serve the client rather than be "the expert" and "right". Neurofeedback is mysterious enough to keep everyone humble, awake, and alert to more learning.
This is a good way to introduce people to the world of neurofeedback. Thanks for making this video. I have been practicing neurofeedback for five years and have been amazed at what it can do. It helps many people with many different ailments lead better lives.
Neurofeedback seems unbelievable but it saved my daughter from a life of unbearable pain. It gave her back her life, and now she has learned to do it and is helping other people.
Neurofeedback empowers the client to become who they truly are, and the clinician to offer an astonishingly effective form of help. It is, indeed, a privilege to do this work and I love it.
This is a powerful series of testimonials about the efficacy of Neurofeedback. I especially like the segment with the doubting Thomas nurse, for whom seeing what Neurofeedback could do, became believing.
As a psychotherapist and neurofeedback provider, I can testify to the successes that the individuals in this video describe. Neurofeedback is an extremely powerful tool that can revolutionize the treatment of many physical and mental disorders. It is extremely gratifying to be doing this work.

Has anybody tried any device in their home that helps monitor neurofeedback? If so, how did it work?
