Losing to a #7 isn't sad when you think how the Spurs are a hard matchup for any team in the league. The Lakers are 3-2 with a number 8 seed, It just shows that ranking means nothing when playoffs start. It's a whole new ball game. Mavs are good, I'm a spurs fan though and wish they could have met later.
@nandolunavids series isn't over yet. maybe for once in dallas's career they will grow a set of kahoonas and win game 6...on the road...in San Antonio...in the playoffs...in the clutch...when there is high pressure... I don't think its Dirk. Its the supporting cast who failed to step up. Dirk gave 30+ almost every night. When he needs to score that much for the Mavs to win a game, that shows that the rest of the supporting cast is not doing what they're being paid to do. I mean they should win games without having Dirk scoring 30+ on a daily basis. Lebron is in a similar situation as well but we don't see the Cavs struggle as much because they're in the East.

obviously dirk is not a good rebounder. thats the whole reason of bringing shawn marion to dallas which is to take the defensive pressure away from dirk. besides shawn marion doing his defensive things, jason terry failed to deliver. butler made a name for himself in game 5. but other than that, no one else was doing anything. and as for you big man theory, KG's a big man but he rotted in Minnesota because he didn't have any help. Mavs supporting cast was just not there.
