Very cute and good for a kid that young, but one thing I have to ask is, why is a yellow belt using weapons??

If it's the same grading system as my karate style, yellow means you've only been training for 3-6 months in martial arts.

Why not. She is exeption, beacuse she is very talent and she like to do sai. Now she has orange belt but we dont have classical gradings 3-6 month yellow or 6-9 orange...beacuse we do a lot of diferent martial arts for kids to have more knowlages in martial arts-"wider"(I dont know is that right word) Thay have to do a lot moore in there exames not only karate tehnics, but olso wepons, kickboxing, selfdefens ext....

anyway she olmost 2 years in martial arts and she knows also BJJ something and now we start to learn kung fu forms for slovenian national competitions.We realy dont care much for tradtional stuff ...we do everything we like...martial arts..and when kids gona be 15-16 years old they will have enormes knowlage in martial arts and then they can desided in wich style want to do specalisation. Also you can see here even younger kids using waepons in musical forms, specialy from USA, UK....

@SammelR85 Whats the big deal with learning a weapon at yellow belt. I took up traditional Shorin Ryu got promoted to orange in my first two months and started training with sai and bo. Belts mean nothing save for where you stand in formation, knowledge is everything.
