Why didn't Eisenhower, Churchill or DeGaulle mention "gas chambers" or "holocaust" in the extensive books that they themselves wrote after the war?

Did it ever occur to you that some of those German soldiers who were mean to you Brits could have just lost their mother and father, grandparents or other loved ones from the RAF's deliberate targeting of German civilians by daily firebombing raids focusing on population centers?

@ilovealexjones1 I think you should look up what collaboration means, because it doesn't mean "getting along" would you call the majority of people in France, Holland and Belgium who weren't in any resistance group collaborators to?

@Anders2185 YOU should look up what the expression 'going along to get along' means...it does not mean that you get along with those around you...it means that you go with the flow, regardless of whether or not it is the right thing to do, because in the end by going along with the authority you generally are left alone....they go along with what they know to be wrong, just so they and their loved ones can scrape by...
