Brother...then why don't you go back and visit? I visited Laos for the first time last year since leaving in 1978...I had mixed emotions...more joy...and then some tears and sadness. Joy..the fact that I was able to visit..and plan to bring my wife and kids in the future.... Sad...to see that MANY are still living in poverty..and struggle day to day to feed the family..and survive!

It was an emotional visit..I will be back again...to see my homeland!!
