First i like to say congrats on the ride on the 999s, and yes everything you said about the Ducati and Wsbk and titles that 100% correct. And it was a nice idea of you boyfriend or husband to let you ride it for valentines day. I think I might do the same for my fiancee, but I have a Hayabusa and Im a little scared of letting her on it..lol I know the feeling of right a super machine like that. I've taken a MV Agusta F4 ago edition for a 10 minute ride and felt like I had a ferrari

@AmetdeathA 1st of all, that's what a dry clutch sounds like. It's an AWESOME sound that makes every bone in your body rattle, & you know the sound of a Duc a mile away.
@AmetdeathA Secondly, Duc's are expensive because they are hi-perfomance machines that won WSBK more than any other manufacturer. They are the considered the "Ferrari" of the motorcycle world for a reason. Do some research b4 making those comments and you'll see that "comparable" bike such as an R1 or Hayabusa aren't that much different in price.
@MonicaRidesMoto Technically the R1 or Hayabusa aren't comparable, because they don't come with carbon fibre, magnesium engine parts, Ohlins suspension and Brembo brakes.
If the 999 weren't so small, there would be one in my garage now, instead of the Aprilia RSV1000 Factory.

I have not rode a Ducati but I can't see how it would be twice as nice of a bike. That being said I am jealous and I would take one for a ride if I had the chance.
@osgnuru That's an SV650, not a GSXR. A GSXR 1000 can't even come close to a Ducati 999. Ride a Duc, and you'll see that it isn't even on the same scale as a Ducati.
@MonicaRidesMoto Yes I noticed it was not a GSX-R the second time I watched it. I don't know anyone that has a Ducati but I will watch for one and see if I can get up close to it. Thanks for the great videos, keep them coming.

@kd4ysi I was more excited than nervous. At 1:13 I'm testing out the clutch/throttle/brake ratio. It wasn't as bad as I expected, so I wasn't too nervous. I've ridden all the new 2010 Ducati's out there right now, but this bike was a lot different.

@osnguru the 999s is triple the bike a gixxer is. That particular bike is intense.
I hate Will for having it. I've wanted a 999s for a long time and he has that one in top shape. Grats on the ride Monica.
