The paste was applied too early, most likely you got trapped bubbles on the 2nd try.... anyway the video is great, I'm just about to install my Sidewinder.

if u can afford the XSC why not just get a better streamer that comes with decent cooling?

No, You just need one, as there only is on the side shown a processing chip. At the other side you only have a bunch of capacitators and the HD mountingbay.

i didn't see the backside of the original heatsink. it seems, there are 2 another chips , that can be cooled. so can i put thermal paste on them as well ?

or are they lower tha procesor?
