this video is amazing I would like to create one with street view images but for an entirely different subject.did you screendump every image and load into video editing software?
The london marathon must produce a lot of carbon dioxide. 60 000+ peoples worth.
if you were cleverr and worked out the average co 2 emissions per runner then x number of runners it would be a lot more than a few cows in a field. i say save the planet ban all marathons!
when i looked out my window today and saw all those black athletic men wearing vests with numbers on them i automatically thought it was slave auction day.
This is an absolutely awesome video. Mind you after watching this I am bricking myself even more now as I am running my first London Marathon in April (2010)! :oS
Awesome!! I had this idea last year but couldn't be bothered to do it. As I'm running next year this is quite interesting to watch. :) Thanks for the time you spent putting it together.
Fantastic, well done! Just got my confirmation in for running this years and its really exciting and daunting at the same time lol! Thanks for putting in the effort for this, great quality!
Sure, if you load Google Earth, and in the bottom left hand corner you should see the 'Layers' box. There, there is a tick box with street view. If you click on that, little cameras should appear in the places where Street view is enabled. Click on any camera you wish and, it will take you into Google Street View :).
Hope this helps and thanks for the comment! Message back if you've got anymore bugs :).
Great vid but is there a way to slow it down?

Said 6 hrs 11 mins at finsh line time clock, but 4 hrs 30 mins on screen shot??
Looks ALOT busier than I imagined... few trips, must take awhile to gather into stride.
