This would have been a great movie except for one thing -- Christian Bale. The guy mumbles every single line he's given. Nick Stahl would have done so much better a job with the role. Wait -- he DID do so much better a job with the role. (Granted, the T3 writers wrote Connor as a whiny emo bitch-tits, but that's hardly Stahl's fault.)

The thing that I thought was so stupid about this scene is when he unloads his rifle into the terminator when it first comes out of that cell it was standing in. So he fires a shit load of round at the thing and it has no marks on it whatsoever lol. Would have been nice to see it get a few tears etc like the terminator has done when under fire in the previous films.

This movie had so much potential. Said potential slowly withered away as the movie progressed. The movie kept hinting that it was about something before being pulled off in another direction. And irregardless of why it was changed last minute, the ending still sucked. The movie was still enjoyable, but I hate that it's connected to the Terminator series. T1 and T2 are the only things canon in my book.

Before you make a movie, decide on what it's actually about before making it.

I agree! The ending was soooo crap! Like, T3, they also changed the plot a bit. Plus the T-800 wasn't as tough to at least damage in The Terminator.

There needed to be another Terminator movie between T3 and T4 because T3 more or less ended with a cliff-hanger. :-/

Fortunatley I have all the Terminator novels, and they fill in some of the gaps left in the films.

Was anyone else bothered by the way Roland was not given any mention about playing Arnold's body double on the extra disc? I mean it felt like Someone wanted Roland to be almost completely omitted from the "behind the scenes" part by not showing his face, or even giving him an interview in between takes. What's with that?! I think this is why so many people thing that his scene was almost 100% CG when it really wasn't. Ah well, I think he did a great job at portraying Arnold.

But the special features is what pisses me off... and i'm not buying the blue-ray because of it. matter of fact, i aint buying the dvd because of it either... i would of RESERVED the fucking thing if they hooked us up w/ a 2 disk special edition dvd like every other Terminator release...

I've read that they deleted this scene because the terminator hand was pointing the middle finger, and for a PG13 movie this was offensive. and why deleted the scene when the T-10 was rising from the water in the sewers(this was only in the first trailer)
