Whenever people ask me what one should see as a tourist in London, particularly if they only have a couple of days, I always say that they should take the river side walk from Tower Bridge down to the Embankment. One passes so much history and so many historical sites, not to mention a chance to view beautiful wide panoramic sweeps of the City. What more could one ask for.

Modern... I 've never had enough time to leave this place totally satisfied, which gives me theopportunity to go back to London from time to time! Nice also to wander in the less officially attractive places. Thanks for stopping by Andrew and apologies for the quite slow reaction to your comment!

Yes, I took them all... it does take long to take a picture , only a fraction of a second; I only use my pictures because I want my videos to mean something to me (they are personal messages somehow, and if they mean anything to some youtube viewers it's as well! Glad you enjoyed pictures and music put together.

Merci Claude, ce que j'aime dans Londres (comme dans Pariset d'autre ville) c'est que l'on peut trouver dans chaque quartier (et non Jacques Cartier!) l'empreinte d'une décennie; Ville riche en passé, en présent et je l'espère en futur. Ces villes dites hustoriques figées dans le passé, ou l'adjonction du moindre pont fait scandale, me "donne le bourdon" ( en fraçais standard: ça me déprime!) je ne citerai aucune ville pour ne blesser personne! Salut de France.
