@oOlaquerheadOo Dude I've heard people argue they're "melodic death metal" I still, to this day, have no idea what the difference is. Black metal originated in Norway. Dimmu hails from Norway and they sound like a more professional, revised version of your typical black metal without the poor production quality.

Dark Medieval Times=Pure Talent anyway i have huge respect for this album but Dark Medieval Times is sooooo fucking beautiful and atmospheric and everything.And you know black metal isn't about great production so don't claim you as a black metal fan if you're only listening to bands that have great production.Anyway if you don't like real black metal that's your taste but the fact is that black metal isn't about stuff like Dimmu,Cradle,Behemoth.....
