I don't get this. The love triangle in X-men is between Cyclops, Wolverine, and Jean Grey. Rogue is a child in the movie version. There was never anything romantic between her and Logan. (I believe she was an adult in the comics and the cartoons.)  Also I think James Marsden was horribly miscast as Cyclops. He looked too young for the role and looked like a kid compared to the rest of the adult mutants. No wonder they killed him off in the sequel. Film X-Men became a Hugh Jackman handjob.
