@gdawson94 I just commented on this. The NJO series was the FIRST one that Lucas was reading and actually put his opinion on. When it first came out that's why it was so popular b/c LUCAS was actually reading it. I know this for a fact b/c I read it on tfn and Lucas website when NJO first premiered. And also it's stated with the authors interviews that Anakin WAS going to be the hero but Lucas said it was to closely tied with Vader's story. So, they changed it to Jacen.

Since Vader destroyed the archives only surviving Jedi would remember the "old" ways. Both Obi-wan and Yoda failed to mention that little tid-bit of information to luke in his training :)
The dumbest thing the books ever did was to kill Anakin Solo off. After they did that in my opinion the entire series just went downhill and I lost all interest in it. Lucas really screwed up by making that decision to kill Anakin off. It's been almost 10 years and I'm still pissed off about this. Jacen should've died not Anakin.

Anakin Solo had the potential of Anakin Skywalker and Luke Skywalker but he died before he could surpass them. He had a greater mastery of the Force at a much younger age then they did. So I assume that if he hadn't died he would have surpassed them.

I believe there was one other (can't remember the name) what happened was he killed someone and figured out how to absorb the force... he than realized how powerful he became with just one so he began to absorb the force from anything he can... but the problem with that was his bodie was begining to return to the force... so what happened was his brain got put into a droid to keep it alive... and then he continued on living until he was killed (sorry, don't remember all that much about him)

I really wished they made the upcomming TV series, instead Lucas (I hate Geroge Lucas, just for the record, not once did I hear someone say he's a nice guy...) makes a 3d Clone Wars that still looks like a cartoon (sincerely...) and postpones the tv series again... He should just make a huge tv series based on The New Jedi Order!
