Thanks for a great video. Vang Vieng is the place to go if you're interested in having the time of your life. I'd recommend 5 days on and around the river with a few caving expeditions thrown in for good measure. You'll deadset feel like your seventeen again - no matter how old you currently are. Finish each night by downing several buckets, Laos Laos whiskey chasers, and my favourite Beer Lao in a 750ml bottle. GO HARD OR GO HOME !
WARNING, AVOID AT ALL COST A GUEST-HOUSE CALLED "TONY'S GUEST-HOUSE". SOME FRIENDS OF MINE WERE ROBBED IN THEIR ROOM BY THE STAFF WHILE THEY WERE TUBBING. NO JOKE !!!!!
I see that you guys like to come here to have fun. there is a village that is 15 miles from this place and if anyone of you americans are willing to stay and teach the hmong kids english. I can provide you with free housing and food to you for as long as you stay and teach them. I want somebody to help them please. so if you are interested please e-mail me at yang.tou1@hotmail.com
Hey for a recap, I was in a volunteer group at the Organic Farm, Me and a couple of volunteers started the whole mojito thing, and everybar after that was just competing!...lol All those kids there helping with the tubes are all my students :)
Made me feel like I was in the 1960's last month. Yea, the essence of yeller submarine playing on the river is memorable just like you have in your vid. When I floated down listening to Yellow Submarine from a bar next to a big rock wall that had it's 2 speakers real far apart, it was just serene. This place is happy happy. I didn't get the painting the middle finger nail pink and writing all this shit on our arms, but they got mad at me for rubbing it off when I returned to town.
The person who made this film (me) has bipolar. Perhaps if you hadn't been so rash in commenting and taken the time to visit the website displayed at the end of the video or my youtube homepage - you might have discovered "What the hell did that have to do with BiPolar". Or do you prefer videos where people just say how terribly hard life with bipolar is?
Look out for all the poisonous snakes in the river...
