When I first heard this version I was like this is different and so toned down. However after I listened some more I realize the lead singer's voice is very flexible and beautiful. I came to really appreciate this performance. I LOVE IT.

Hm. Good voices... And they really like standing there and singing but... they don't seem to feel it like other gospel choirs... Take The Glory Gospel Singers for example... They really want to praise Jesus and you hear that from their performance...

it´s like brittish rock and american rock. they're diferent, but it doesn't mean they have to play the same way... i didn't think that the performance needed more feel. We have both extremes, the american "cheery" gospel, and the gregorian choir style of singing. Or you think that monks don´t praise the lord enough? We have diversity, and I love diversity. It's not an excuse, it is a matter of choice.

Hi at first I thought the same thing because I was listening to other versions that were louder, but then after listening some more I think that this version also has a lot of feeling. It just starts out more softly but if you listen you will hear that it builds up in layers that is more controlled. It is just a different style of singing than what we are used to for this song. If you really listen you will find there is actually a lot of feeling in this.
