This is the 1st gospel song that I learned too......and it is a huge inspiration for me.....and my testimony. YES, I know God is REAL! God bless you! Can you tell me some of the things that you did to help that left hand do what it is supposed to do. I have only been playing for 3 years......but only about a year, actively....meaning truly working at it. I am playing at my church now, and it is a blessing, as well as a dream come true! It will help you greatly to play without a bass player especially in the beginning stages. This will force you to use the left hand to phatten up your music. Also be a person of principle. There are principles that are used over and over that can be interchanged in different songs. Most of all be patient. Learn the difference between practice and rehearsal. Rehearsing is covering songs and things you don't know. Practice is covering the things you cant do. Practice more!!!!!
