  • The US didn't lose the war. The south vietnamese lost the war

  • @TheNavalAviator US lost in their shitty invasion just like the frenchfags did, get over it, redneck. Pay some respect for the wasted lives of many young american soldiers during this no-good war started by frenchfags then US.

  • VIETNAM!!

US never lost in any war but VIETNAM???

Common Obama..Wash the faces for over 58,000 American soldiers past away in Nam NOW??

++ Why let the VC run around here and there in the USA for??

  • wow,is it me or that plane looks like the A-10 Warthog/Thubderbolt?:O

  • It is amazing to me that they could see anything in that canopy, tell friend from foe, and know where to fire, land, etc. Did the downed pilot mark his position with smoke and did they repel down to him or send a basket w/o anywhere to land? Did the Sandys and the Hueys just light up the perimeter to provide cover, or could they tell where the ground fire was coming from?

  • @mwp62 It was extremely difficult to tell what was what, but in CSAR the C2 Ship or FAC is in comms w/ the ground element and they determine their POS by a strobe, flare, smoke, shiny, or calling bingo when they were beneath the aircraft. Then using map grids they would talk them in on targets for CAS to work over before the exfil birds came in on the LZ. In trip-canopy exfils were by string via Maguire/Stabo/Swiss Seats, and if in closer could use caving ladders or actually land on LZ. Amazing.

  • @ajgambs44 Thank you. What a complete, competent, focused, and brave team. It is humbling to watch this video and makes me want to live life to my fullest potential in our nation because they sacrificed so much for us.

  • Excellent video! Willie Pete is our way of saying how much we want you gone.

  • The ballsiest guys. No Jolly or Sandy driver buys a drink in our mess!

  • @fernandouarmy mto massa

  • @s0v13tRaz3r cong=nationality not race. try again.

  • OV -10 Bronco i staic lined from those

  • @willie1490 "Muder?" What the hell is "muder?" Your "muder" would have been wise to abort your ignorant ass!

  • Good Video

  • Wow, its like watching a high school asshole jock, beat up on 1st graders. No contest, and hardly just at all. That's not battle. That's a fucking joke. Some guy posted he's never seen such intense combat footage.... I see no... resistance... or combat... at all. At least not in this video. Get down in the jungle and go hand to hand you pussies.

  • @cobrachoppergirl

They are doing search and rescue, going down and fighting people hand to hand defeats the purpose.

  • @cobrachoppergirl Your showing your ignorance "cobrachoppergirl." Inside those Jolly Greens are Air Force PJs and Combat Controllers. When they are on the ground, or "in the jungle" as you like to say, they can kick the shit out of anything that gets in their way! They are the elite of the elite of America's Special Operations units!

  • 6 people were ripped to pieces by a mini gun.

  • run charlie

  • My uncle was a river rat with the navy. Never forget the men..... our brothers and sisters

  • whats the name of that chopper?

  • 2:17 THATS CALLED AIR PLANE FUCKING

  • I've always thought how bad it is, that we "struggled" in Vietnam with complete air superiority over the battlefield.

    - What would have happened if we were fighting for air space as well?

    - Scary to think.

  • usa говно

  • OV10 Broncos, and A1 Skyraiders. I want those on my back anday.

  • Humans killing humans...what a sick world we live in.

  • @Hamodyxxx0 Humans have been killing humans for over 100,000 years, it isn't going to change and you would do the same if placed in a situation that required you to kill for your own survival.

  • @Prometheus203 True, its just a shame we ever get into that situation in the first place....

  • Simper Fidelis

    Always faithful

  • Since the Americans left Vietnam there has been peace and recently prosperity. True there are many poor people in Vietnam as there are everywhere but at least Vietnam is now a country at peace and no price is to high to pay for that.

  • I loved my CH-53s!

    SAT CONG!

  • The truth is the the Vietnamese people lost the war in Vietnam. What did they achieve? A totalitarian government and deep poverty. The facts are that if they had renounced communism they could have had their freedom and so much more. McNamara said so and JFK had ordered the removal of our troops from Vietnam. LBJ cancelled those ordered for the sake of his war monger supporters. His main support came from Brown and Root aka Halliburton.

  • @exenrontexas but what did we achieved there back in 'nam? And please no hate comments, I would prefer reasonable comments.

  • @ProblemMr If you had reviewed my other posts you would have seen that I very rarely use hostile or insulting language unless someone else uses it first. SO what did the US achieve in Vietnam? Good question. We proved that America had not heeded the warn by Ike about the Military Industrialist Complex. Under JFK, both the CIA and the Joint Chiefs and their Defense Industry cohorts achieved the overthrow of democarcy in America and the covert assertion of a fascist dictatorship.

  • @exenrontexas No, I haven't reviewed your other posts (I guess I was lazy) so I'm sorry if you got offended to me, I've just talked to many persons who can't tolerate this kind of reasonable questions and start insulting and stuff... So I thank you for not starting this conversation with "OH FUCK U"- attitude. I just was prepared for that :P . I watched your channel and I made some rough calculations that you were 24 when that madness ended. In which company did you serve in 'Nam? Just curious.

  • @ProblemMr OK, thanks for being reasonable. I served in CAG 7 which was generally operating about fifty miles east of Haiphong. The specific unit was the USS Bon Homme RIchard, an attack aircraft carrier. I had one of the best jobs on the ship, a photographersmate. We were on line for about 11 months.

  • @exenrontexas you completely wrong, america invaded Vietnam because they thought it was going to be a base for communists. They didn't want Asia to have an communist base right in the middle of Asia, a very tactical position. But they were wrong, their wasn't going to be a base. Americans are scared of everything. 50 years ago communists now terrorists. The government scared the people so they got support to invade a country. America lost.. many Americans died and they made the Vietnamese poor

  • @keffje007 OH? SO you don't think that Communist Red China wasn't a Communist base in the middle of Asia? I suggest you view the documentary "the Fog of War" by Robert McNamara who had begun to implement JFKs order to REMOVE OUR TROOPS from Vietnam when JFK was murdered by the CIA and the Joint Chiefs who wanted WAR. Also view right here on youtube "the Power of Nightmares" a BBC documentary. It is mostly about nationalism. Most wars are.

  • @exenrontexas You served in Vietnam i saw. I'm pretty young but i have been to the USA twice and for 5 weeks to Vietnam. I heard from a lot of people and read some books about it, and it says that there wasn't any base. But im gonna be skeptical about it. Still america didn't win the war. They destroyed a whole country, killed a whole bunch of innocent people. A lot of Americans died. America lost billions of dollars. Im from Holland and im neutral, but i understand you stand behind your country

  • @keffje007 Well that is reasonable, but I think there are many misconceptions about the Vietnam war and many are by those who fought it and directed it from Washington and even some in Hanoi. The FACTS that the North Vietnamese could have had NO WAR and LOTS of support if they had repudiated Communism. Communism for them was a means to an end of colonial rule. It was a NATIONALIST war. It was the fascists in America who want continual war for profit. Read "The Forty Years War".

  • You all were a disease to the vietnamese people. You had nothing there to do, just terrorize...

  • what are the things that seem to explode in mid air?

  • @S14VH45 white phosphorous smoke screen, to protect the helicopter. You can hear them saying "willy pete" over the radio which is military lingo for white phosphorous

  • @S14VH45 that is napalm it appears

  • dude those choppers at the beging were the jolly green giants. :O

  • I honestly can't believe that after all these years the highest rated comment is, 'the only good cong is a fucking dead cong.......i alute all you brave soldiers'

Can't you idiots see that attitudes like that will do nothing but ensure that conflicts like vietnam will be seen again and again!

And it was the US government who started this war, sending their teenagers off to die in a country they had absolutely nothing to do with. Don't blame the VC, blame the US government. They caused this

  • @mickeybee

I totally understand your opinion but, it's never been about the US Government. These vids are to salute the brave men and woman who served in the conflict. They never caused the conflict they were sent there to do a job and watch each others back.

  • @mickeybee totally agree on that one mate, well said.

  • @mickeybee totally agree on that one mate, well said. the only problem is, they're still at it aren't they?? sending troops in to places when they should really be minding their own business. still, they know best, right??

  • Big thanks RancidEIf32. Are they Sky Raiders? Jolly Green boys are something else. Men among gods. I have never seen such footage of fire power. Mini Pod man was working the tree line with that. Fantastic footage. Death From Above Charlie!! Bless to all Jolly Greens, Air Cav, 101st. and All who served and all that paid the ultimate sacrifice.

    Never forget you all.

  • @Goonerton you know nothing of war go back to your sad life

  • @MrKeg1234

Are you a professional wanker or are you still studying?

Go back to you comfy desk job puss

  • Big thanks RancidEIf32. I love Skyraiders. Death From Above Charlie.

Bless to all Air Cav, 101st. All who served and all that paid the ultimate sacrifice.

    Never forget you all.

  • I served in Viet Nam 1968-69 and I got back all in one piece.

I was in the Air Force but seen so many that Rescue had saved.

To my Bros and Sis that diod not make it back God Bless You

    Sgt McCracken

  • We you a PJ ?

  • Does anyone know if this was the 4337th out of NKP ??

  • i flew ARMY AIR CORPS(BRITISH) !! dropped them in & brought them home!!, some well scarey moments!!

  • The carzy plane that looks like a P-38. Those used to fligh over my town all the time when I was a kid. But I have not seen one in many years. The Air Froce must have used them as trainers and had since been retired. I think in Nam it was called the OV-10 Bronco

  • I'm 54 years old and I don't think I've ever seen a video from the war that was this action packed. We've all seen the stuff from WW2. I've seen lots of still photos from friends who were in the Vietnam war. Snippets on the news, but nothing this detailed showing our guys dominating so thoroughly. Thanks.

  • but you losy didnt you hahahahahahahahahhaa

  • @MrKeg1234, They didn't lose. The politicians and pussies like you cost them the conflict.

If any such thing were to happen again I guess you be getting mummy and daddy to write you a sick note or be staying in college to organise demo's and such stuff eh? Even charlie earns more respect than scum like you.

  • @tienphuc69 eheh lol :)

  • Wow thats true war right there.

  • 3 people are from Vietnam

  • @xKab01

...or just spoiled west coast kids....

  • This is awesome! What documentary is this footage from?

  • @slowagon All the combat scenes are from the "Air Force Now" clip titled, "All for One". I believe the footage was caught by Combat Camera on an HH-53C from Danang and the 37 ARRS, if I am not mistaken.

  • did the congs have anti air`?

  • @SweStuff94 sure.

  • @bf2lover42 but not so good??

  • @SweStuff94 Everything able to shoot you down is a menace.

The SA-7 was shoulder fired and very portable. I don't consider those weapons "bad" compared to U.S. weapons because the guided missile technology was still very rudimentar.

  • @SweStuff94 they where being supplyied by the russians they had SAM missels and sites the wild weasels where created to dismantel the sites but if the SAM sites turned off there radar the weasels missels where useless they also had the shoulder fired SA-7 portable SAM

  • @Griffmeister423 ahha ok ty :P

  • crazy

  • killer flood..fuck all

  • "Come an get'em Sandy!" "We got more Willy P for charlie." *bam* *bam* *bam*

  • i heard that they used to call gatling gun gun-ships "puff the magic dragon"

  • Comment removed

  • @Toro76aus those were DC-3s and C-47s with gatling guns.

  • My Great Grandfather was a military observer (for the British Commonwealth) in Vietnam, he was in the special forces. He had a great respect for all US troops in Vietnam especially LRRP forces and MAC SOG. Like him I salute all those Veterans. Ironically he was killed by a US jeep in Saigon during the final days of the war. God rest his soul.

  • @moleman9000 how old are you?!?!

  • @CrazyDoncovA The age in between the ages of 16 and 18

  • Great footage. I liked the Bronco Forward Air Control ( FAC ) and the C130 Hercules Transport - Refueling footage as you rarely see " Jolly Green's " air to air refueling ( in documentary footage ). And plus all the other aircraft; etc ( those White Phosphorus or " Willie Pete " rounds / bombs looked very close to that " Jolly Green " ). Regards.

  • To all that served in Vietnam. Your Not Forgotten. You Are Appreciated. Your The BEST!

  • @christyandmattshow please try to spell and anyway it's because of these men and women that we don't live in a 3rd world piece of crap country. so gtfo and take your fail with you

  • Comment removed

  • @christyandmattshow btw you need to think before you say shit. i don't think that we would go into unknown jungles, holes, trenches etc. to look for congs who were holed up underground. we wouldn't go in after them that would be a death trap why risk tons of lives just to prove the US masculinity and fearlessness

  • Comment removed

  • @christyandmattshow no we went in there because of their nonworking communism it was causing pain and unrest thats hy we did we didnt go in there and just shoot to kill anything. btw more than likely all of the soldiers that raped or killed innocents were ones that were drafted and didnt want to be there

  • @christyandmattshow What a piece of work you are... your head is so far up your ass it's resulted in permanent brain damage. You don't know anything about veterans, why they fight for scum like you and the rest of the white trash cowards who sit faceless on YT behind a computer so they can puke out their anti-american propaganda. Put a grenade in your mouth, pull the pin and do the world and your parents a favor.

  • Comment removed

  • @christyandmattshow So let me get this straight...you are an ignorant, uneducated, uninformed transgender freak who hates the men and women who make your pathetic existance possible and can't make up your mind whether you are cristy or matt....is that about it??

  • awesome video

  • the only good cong is a fucking dead cong.....I salute all you brave soldiers....

  • Comment removed

  • @kojack38 I think your forgetting, that one, those congs didn't do anything to us but fight back, and also, we killed a million civilians, they only killed our soldiers, that, and we got our butts kicked.

  • @whythewar1 Gee do you think for 1 minute the south vietnamese wanted to NOT be communist, when the south fell north vietnam hunted down and murdered entire tribes babies, women and all.

  • @kojack38

I salute you for being one of the biggest morons to exist on this fairly retarded enough planet.

  • @kojack38 you sir are retarded, there is nothing worse in the world then the pointless killing in war.

  • @kojack38 30 other teenagers who have never been to the Nam agree with you!

  • @kojack38 I salute all Vietnam Veterans.
