After a Canadiens' practice, a reporter asked right winger Mario Tremblay when Gretzky was gonna break the record, and Tremblay replied that Gretzky would do it that very night. Call it a fluke, or call it intuition, but either way, Tremblay DID predict it. (Wonder how he felt the next morning looking at the papers!)
