firmware doesnt matter when have a pandora battery because the pandora battery only works if u have a magic memory stick or if u made one, its very easy because i've changed firmwares that had 6.20 alot of times, u need to update a newer video

A Magic Memory Stick (or MMS) [note: not 100% on this, check with others] is a modified memory stick that is able to flash cfw onto a PSP.

Pandora downgrading has nothing to do with firmware exploits rather that it has to do with the motherboard type a PSP has.

As far as making vs. buying a Pandora battery goes, I'd rather spend a whole $10 for a Pandora battery that I can drag out whenever I want to flash a CFW than mess with one of my own batteries and change it over and back again until you FUBAR it (which has happened to me twice...put me out $40).
