  • This takes me back to primary school. We would sing this song in assembly while reading the lyrics from a projector.

  • Wonderful!

    very good!

  • great song! Reminds me of the secondary school days (morning assembly sessions). I miss Naledi Secondary School so much.

  • :O

  • lovley song, a joy to listen to you sing it

  • Thanks very much.

  • Peace...

  • You too.

  • Everytime I come here on your channels I end up listening this AWESOME one. So, I think I'll bring it to my favourites. Your playing is very solid and clear, Ken. I think that your playing and singing here have so much sentiment. Soulful.

  • I always appreciate your comment, Paolo. I like this song too.

  • just the voice i would love to hear on a cd have you got one? i mean this is amazing!

  • Thanks Emma. No CD with this on it, I'm afraid.

  • Wonderful,

Nice voice, and the guitar is cool.

  • Thanks very much.

  • this is really really good. you add in so much guitar wise than i would think to. and your voice is good too. wow.

  • Thanks Melissa.

  • Really nice, Ken. You're smokin' on that guitar.

  • Thanks Ben. I've played the guitar a long time (50 years).

  • Superbe, tu joues vraiment bien !

Very good, you play and sing very great !

    Thanks for this song !

  • My pleasure. Thanks.

  • what pick are you playing with Ken ?

  • Probably a Jim Dunlop nylon.

  • I wish I could take you to my church and have you sing there for us.

  • I'd love that too. I have never been to the States however.

  • really terrific recording Ken! is the guitar being picked up from beneath that Zoom or are you capturing it elsewhere plugged in? graet sound!

  • I'm only using the Zoom, Russ. It works well in that corner of the house. I shall do other recording there.

  • good to know, Ken. i'll have to try that with the snowball mic sometime. i somehow always felt that would cause the vocals to be way louder than the instrument. time to experiment!

  • When you sing quietly get close to the mic, and perhaps in the chorus when your voice is louder, pull away. I learned that from Midge Ure of Ultravox in the 80's.

  • really good ken, haven't heard this gem of a tune in years.

  • Thanks very much.

  • Good one Ken, I'm so used to seeing you play a uke that your gee-tar looks a little silly being so big!

  • It feels odd - and it's a small guitar!

  • That was wonderfully joyous! It was a thrill to watch you as you were obvious enjoying playing and singing it. Bless!

  • Thanks Alan. I was enjoying it. I'm just catching up a bit. I haven't been at home much lately.

  • Works as well in colour as in black n white!

  • If you look carefully you will see a thick layer of dust on the shoulders of my guitar. I hardly ever pick it up nowadays.

  • Just like my head - it's all dusty 'cause I hardly use it nowadays...

  • I do love this song and you did it so wonderfully. Great video - thanks for posting.

  • Thanks so much Shane. It very rare that I play the guitar nowadays.
