i was at this race with my step parents. It was hot as shit. I was 12 at the time. My first and only f1 race . hoping to go to Austin if it goes. Oct or nov will be perfect.

The scheduling of both this race and the race in Austin for 2012 shows how little Bernie and his boys know about the weather in Texas. It will be miserable for the race if it is not rescheduled. Just like when they decided to put a race in June in Phoenix in 1989. The only scheduling they got right was putting Long Beach in the beginning of the season as, being from Southern California, it is very hot from mid-June through September here in So Cal.

Also once again "assfault" proves itself totally worthless as a race track paving material. It may be cheaper but cheap is not good. At the very least have the corners paved in concrete. Blacktop can't take the side loads in that heat, it never really "sets".
