GWS P-51 with A123 1100mah

great flying - sounds like it was pretty windy. I have a guanli p51 - seems to be the same plane. I upgraded it to brushless, but haven't flown it yet. I don't know if I want to use 2 2s in parallel or a 1500ma 3s in mine.

Thanks, yes it was a windy day. I believe that the guanli P-51 is the same as the GWS. If you are going brushless I would suggest going with a 3s battery, 1500 mah should be enough and is also lite.

8 minute flight with that pack, but the good thing is I charge it in 12-15 minutes, and I'm flying again, no need to wait for the battery to cool, and you could leave the pack inside the plane throughout the flying session.

Thats a Himax motor 2025 inrunner, with the GWS gearbox.

wow a 4s? im currently building one. Im giving it the "marie" paint scheme. Im putting a 2s 1000mah in it.
