I put the battery just in front of the motor (going left to right). The speed controller sits just above the motor on a liteply shelf. The clip you see is its first test.
Badass dude.. I just got one and its bone stock. Im wondering how you sealed the body once you cut it to replace the electoronics. Also what did you use to attach the motor to the stock drive line (if you use the stock drive line).. Thanks for your help. Im dying to get mine running like this..
I have used the stock jet drive with a Graupner coupling. The Align brushless fits the holes in the jet drive mount (you have to remove the drive to do this.) I used plasicard the same size as the cover with the drivers on and some draught exclude.

The battery is an alighn 2100Mah and lasts for about 10mins at full tilt.
