Klaus Shulze and Manuel Gotsching invented electronic music, even before Tangerine Dream or Kraftwert. Together they authored the most important rock records in Germany's history, including the stolen Cosmic Jokers tapes, which took space rock to an entirely new dimension. Most of the music on the telly today owes them something.
Their records are very hard to find and go for several dozens of euros, but quite worth the money.
Well, I live in Romania and I am a great fan of Klaus Schulze. This summer I had guests from Germany and they told me that today no one in Germany hears Klaus Schulze. Is that true ? (question for germans).

German electronic musician are well known, all over the world.
I´m from Mexico City and I collected some records of them ... Bauman, Schulze and Tangerine Dream
But some friends told me that in germany are not famous... even it's hard to find their recordings ... better in New York
