@classiciron1958 Yeah, that is why the new ones out-perform the classics in every possible category/test; 0-60, 1/4 mile, slalom, road course, braking, etc. I don't get the "they don't make them like they used to" folks. It only makes sense that modern technology and engineering is going to improve previous generations, not get worse. Those "unnecessary gadgets" save a lot of lives as the car is constantly measuring/controlling traction, cornering, braking, steering, etc.
my friend just sold his 67 galexy wagon rod he had it soo low that if he had more than 300pound in it it would hit the ground .
