"Beautiful" is an underrated Carole King song and it was sweet to see this poignant performance by Brooke. Her piano playing really made the tale come to life, and she did the original much justice. Despite her 'lack of confidence' (as she said), I think Brooke grew on the show and always had much strength in her emotional vocals. She was very real, in touch with lyrics. She definitely has ALOT of talent, and I hoped she would have taken the crown, but maybe now she can "shine" on her own. A+!!

Brooke is a great singer. But she just doesn't really...stand out among the other contestants. (except Jason Castro) I love this piano/singing combo here, but I think Brooke messed it up when on the big stage...she focused too much on playing the song than actually singing it whenever she utilized this combo...I dunno, my opinion.

I don't know quite why but I really like Brooke White. Perhaps she strikes me as being a really consumate musician.

One great improvement in American Idol is that the singers can accompany themselves.

As for Brooke, she truly is up against some very formidable competition. Being well-rounded and consummate may not be enough, but, right now, she gets my vote.

i love her. she is kind of similair to Carrie Underwood in personality wise but totally different vocals. Don't get me wrong, they are both AMAZING singers. Brooke has more of a tremble in her vocals but i think that that can be fixed in the CD making room (the iTunes singles that she has out sound better).... if she doesn't win American Idol i will not be surprised but i am rooting for her 101%...
