The point is that it has ON-BOARD memory and BLUETOOTH (which means you can tether it with your cellphone to take calls.) Right now Sony is saying they are still going to sell the psp 3000. It is my opinion though, that they are just doing this because they don't want to alienate those that have them by getting rid of UMD's. Just wait, people will buy the GO instead of the PSP and in 2-3 years, say goodbye to UMD's. Sony is betting on this, they just wont say it, but it is obvious.
