Hello! I make sculptures out of melted crayons. Im trying to find a glossy finnish coat that will work with this material. Iv been told you guys use an acrylic glaze. Is there a specific type or will any brand work? The only one I could find is made by Golden and i beleive is intended of painting. Thanks for any help! :D
Hello, I'm from Romania and try to make carved candles just do not know the correct composition of the core candle lumanarii.Cade fitil.Va ask if you can help me on my address scieti donciu_letitia@yahoo.com.Va Thank you!
one recommendation that I would make to you, it after you trim the bottom of your candle, but before you dip it in lacquer, try setting it on a hot, flat surface (such as an electric skillet) and spin it around 5-6 times really quickly. This will ensure you have a perfectly flat and stable bottom to your candle. Then use your finishing dip like you normally would. Other than that, great effort and I really enjoyed watching your design take shape. Keep up the great candle work!!
Wow! I looked this up to see how to make my own unity candle for my wedding, and I am SO impressed with how quickly and expertly you made this candle! Beautiful craftsmanship! :)
Hi I have been making moulded candles for some time but would like to have a go at the carving the trouble is can you tell me where can i get the multiple diping pots or can I use a standard wet bain marie, the type you get in catering caravans and also the hardener you use at the end. Many thanks Mick. By the way fab candles and vids.
DONDE COMPRASTE EL CONTENEDOR DONDE SE ENCUENTRAN LOS BOTES DE CERA CALIENTE, Y COMO FUNCIONA EL SISTEMA DE CALENTAMIENTO?, HAY MANERA DE FABRICARLO EN CASA?
Please somebody help me, I tried to make candles but by the time I carve the wax cracks and breaks, has a secret or is it something other than paraffin, is please help me - I am with the online translator because they do not speak English. Invested a lot and I can not lose thanks
I have a complete set up for this type of candle that I am selling. Willing to teach you and get you completely set up to have a successful business. Contact me at ggm0109@hotmail.com if you are interested.
Hi, what kind of varnish is used to finish. In the end you blow the candle in a liquid, that product is that? I'm using online translator, excuse the errors.
Wow! I wanna try this. Where do you buy the appliance that melts the multiple waxes? What kind of wax? What kind of glaze? Costs? Keep up the good work!
I love this method, and am interested in getting into it for a hobby and a little christmas cash, but so far everything is sooo expensive, and in this area the pricing of the candle would exceed the demand for it. Is there a specific place that you get your supplies from that is cost efficient? BTW...this is the most beautiful use of peach and sage colors I have ever seen. It really reminds me of a beautiful flower!
