  • Both Havikoro and K-Mel rocked the floor they're awesome but El Ninö was nothing special

  • FUCK NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LIL JOHN GOT SCHOOLED FOOLS. blind MFs

  • Who the heck added youval and his 1000pour100 to that vid????

  • I'm used to seeing kamel burn squads all by himself, and the rest of his crew gets to celebrate too but my bboy el nino really carried his weight with the toughest b-boy ever. Nice battle fellas.

  • Lil Jon smoked K-mel thats the first time I've seen K-mel get smoked.

  • trop fort !!!

  • Lil Jon, Moy, El Nino and Kmel are so nasty now. They are true idols expressing the way they feel when they dance.

  • lil john killed it, love his kmel impersonation

  • last song please?

  • What's the name of the song that starts at 3:33? I used to have that song years ago, but my PC crashed and I lost all my good music. I was able to get most of em back by memory, but I can't seem to remember the name of this one! PLEASE HELP!!!!! :(

  • name 1 song?

  • Amen Brother

  • @nielsencerqueira EPMD- SLOW DOWN BABY pete rock remix

  • @nielsencerqueira it's was a loop of this song " EPMD ft. LL Cool J - Rampage Pete Rock Remix "

  • CONCLUSION: Come to Texas and prove a point or quit talking shit. IN OTHER WORDS.......

Stand tall or sit the fuck down.

  • GOD DAMN that battle was on fire baby Lil Jon is so nasty with the foundations, and style K-mel is so beast wit the abstract , and physics the only nigga who got did in this battle was Moy I mean seriously that yung ass nigga was comin wit it and yall really cant compare Jon and K-mel 2 different styles

  • Oh I see. So I guess Red Bull still seems to sponsor certain events, though they are different in nature compared to the old LotF spirit. Ah well :(

    Thanks

  • What happened to Lords of the floor? Did they stop it, and if so why?

  • yea it stopped that year 2002, issues with Red Bull and some other things

  • Now, they have Red Bull BC One and also, Red Bull King of the Rings. But they stopped LOTF after 2002.

  • yea too bad the BC One is wack and biased, and the King of the Ring isn't done often enough, but they do the Red Bull Beat Riders that I hear is a pretty dope experience

  • lil jon knows how to rock the beat..not only rock the beat, but the whole song...

  • lol moy crashed twice with the same flip

  • not a crash

thats how he did it then, thats how he does it now

  • wats the first song =/?

  • name of song at 3:33 anyone?

  • lol and why is little john so mad

  • YEAH!!! Havikoro all the way!!!

  • DEAR LORD, KMEL IS A SICK MONSTAA!

  • havikoro got ate I don't think they moment not even a little in that battle kmel smashed little johns career.

  • This is so damn true. Lil John got squashed by Kmel and ever since then, it pretty much ruined Lil John's career. LOL.

  • b are you serious, honestly, they're both legends and helped inspire b-boys around the world

but if u were to ask me who would smoke who today... i'd say lil john would have k-mel right now, lil john's got some of the nastiest footwork in the world right now and the cat has mad flow, straight up, and no offense to you, but do your research of yesterday and today before you start talkin, u got no idea how wrong you are

  • lil johns footwork would NEVER destroy Kmels... are you serious?

Lil john is DOPE, but Kmel would definately take it man...

  • dude im not gonna front i see texas slack like crazy most of the time but Lil John is straight up nasty, go back and watch some of his recent shit, K-Mel aint the same, he's still nasty and creative as fuck but it aint like when he was 22 or 23 years old, 5 years ago he was straight up untouchable unfuckwitable the whole 9 but hes a lil older now, still got it just not as clean

  • all texans are powermovers who have no rhythm? That is the biggest pot of BULLSHIT I've ever heard. come to texas and say that.

as far as k-mel vs lil jon is concerned: that would be pretty good. like ebonikz said lil jon has nasty original footwork, power, tricks everything.

  • Well in Austin thats all anyone ever does. No style, no variation, practically no creativity. Im sure in Dallas, Houston, Corpus, etc you'll see it different but in Austin.....

  • what the fuck are u talkin about...Austin has some sik ass dancers...Blitz and Dizzy from Alien Squad are some of the MOST under rated, abstract, and creative dancers in the world. Young Bboy Elusive has mad power with musicality...not to mention Mondo before him. Then lets not forget Zeshen....ZESHEN....that cat has some of the MOST unique style and footwork in the world while still having crazy foundation. Veteran Rudy Rexx is from Austin too...Rudy and Zeshen are both Havikoro......

  • ..then there is Bboy Omar..he may not be known as the most abstract and stylistic bboy out there, but lets not forget he won the FIRST Red Bull BC One jam there was. He and Milky have crazy style now though. I don't know what clubs your going to or if your just dancing with high school kids. You need to learn your citys history and contribution to streetdance. It sounds like u just don't know where the spots are,and I understand that cuz if your not in the underground loop u wouldn't know..Peace

  • Austin is the live music capital, and the city motto is Keep Austin Weird. Austin was birthed on some abstract, artistic, hippie shit...how could it not overflow into the hiphop scene and influence its creativity. Cats like Romeo Navarro,JP (Blitz's older bro),Global, and myself didn't bust our knees up creating a eclectic streetdance scene in Austin back in the early 90s for u youngbucks to make sum uneducated statements about our creative city. Be REAL proud homie & find the REAL dancers..peace

  • whats the is it 3:33 ??

  • CLASSIC!!!

    really nice battle!

  • good ending

  • whats the last song ??

  • lil john tried to cap on k-mel's move but k-mel burned him with it lol

  • Yeah, pretty sad. Look at the move Lil John does at 0:56 to 0:58 and then compare to Kmel's move at 0:28 to 0:32. Huge difference in their levels. And also, Lil John is fucking annoying with his gay toprocks at 2:43-3:00. He thinks he's taunting and owning K-mel with his corny topwork.

  • yeah k-mel would own them in toprocking

  • El Nino really grew up.

  • yeah. compare him in this video with ibe 2008. el nino grew up but his skills still remains original, nino be keepin it real.

  • clean ass battle floor brats killed

  • whats the song at 8.23??

  • When something is created it belongs to everyone. It is the duty of all to improve the lives of each other, to enhance the beauty of life through the expressions of our experiences. To share our dreams as they manifest in tangible form. America is the Melting pot. Built on the backs of Slaves and from the pockets of war mongering Commerce. all that is will be. love it, or leave us.

or stay and player hate ya little bitches, BOOYA

    the cyberspace Hoodlum!

  • whats the song at 3:33 ?

  • el ninho ripped ..& his team mate had good acro...

  • lil john, moy, and kmel ripped it...but fuck el nino

  • werd he was just a half stepper anyways

  • no its the same year, and they didn't kill HaviKORO

it came down to a tie-breaker

  • ??

No, this is from 2002, where Remind and Crumbs, got eliminated on their first battle against Iron Monkey and Eric. They did not battle Havikoro in 2002.

It was in 2001 Lords of the Floor, that Crumbs and Remind battled havik. That was the year they got 3rd place, Kamel and Vengeance 2nd, and LA breakers won first.

This footage here of 2002, Kamel and El Nino take first, Havikoro take 2nd, and Crumbs and Remind don't even make it past their first battle.

  • my bad I read his post wrong and I know this is from 2002, I posted it and if you read I wrote the correct year on the battle, thanks

  • is the year after crumbs and remind killed havikoro??

  • DON'T STEAL FILMS!!

    THIS is LOTF productions!

    BITCH!!!

  • What is the name of the last song please ???

  • 6:33 was cool

  • lmao..k-mel @ 1:20..he got that look on his face...oooooo shit, this my song..i'ma bout roast this cat =P...this wuz a dope battle on both sides..

  • edudrepus is a prime example of someone who is imitating someone who has been too a school. Not a very good imitation unfortunatly.

  • whats the name of the song at 4:10

  • Damn this was back in 02, El Nino must be El Hombre by now

  • rofl breakin is a lifestyle plain and simple, a state of mind if u will....this is a really useless argument!

  • Who gives a fuck, I know the history of the bboy and I don't care about all this race bullshit... you need to get out there and dance whenever you get the chance.

  • I dont see why the fact the the progenitors were non white is so offensive. You dont see non-whites complaining that the TV was a black or asian invention. Get over it and enjoy a dance that is loved all over the world....

  • I totally agree with the stance that BBOYIN is for everyone, no matter the race or creed.

But I would say I dont agree with Ebonics, I was also there in the 70s and the majority, if not all the original progenitors of Breakdancing/BBOYIN were Black or Hispanic.

The parts of the Bronx where the original Breakers like the Nigga Twins lived were mired in povery where mainly only blacks or hispanics lived.

  • Damn, edudsomething, stop trying to prove an already lost point, dickhead.

Ebonics gave you an answer to your question already, deal with it.

  • that dude k mel was killin that shit!!!!!

  • Capoeira developed from various african cultures in Brazil, and while the origins of breakdancing owe a fair amount to capoeira, by the late 70's it was its own artform. All cultures contributed to it. Breakdancing is not "african" and capoeira isn't either...it's Brazilian, and again, Capoeira is not the same thing as breakdancing (ever see anyone side- float or pop -lock in a Roda?)...you're wrong and slightly racist.

  • ok just clear this up for ignant peeps. Capoeira was created by enslaved Africans in Brazil during the 17th Century. FACT! Now everyone can STFU

  • dam skippy it is :)

great dance a lil ahrd to learn tho

  • its a common mistake to confuse Capoeira with Brasil , because thats where it got its fame through television , magazines ....etc , it was already a dance and martial art form in Angola , so no ... its creation did not begin in Brasil , but was kept as tradition

  • yea this was a nice battle but skill meathodz got robbed

  • Epilepsy at it's finest.

  • I think this demonstration unequivocally demonstrates that breakdancing is an African art form. Those of Caucasian European descent are the imitators whilst those of Negro African descent are the originators.

  • lol you are writing crap

and furthermore you try to separate the people

you learned nothing. Its about DANCE.

And everyone has another STYLE of the dance.

  • Yes everyone has their own style of dance. This style of dance belongs to the Africans. The Africans originated this style of dance it is an African style of dance.

  • who the fuck told u that???

  • Reasearch the history of Capoeira.

  • what are you talking about???

born and raised from the streets from of NYC in the early and mid 1970's from kids from around the neighborhood

this dance touched nothing from Africa, not until the innovators of the mid and late 1980's

all the flares people see in b-boying today came far after the foundation was laid for the creation of the dance

  • What ethnicity was doing it? What ethnicity originated it? what ethnicity are you?

  • 1) there aren't only Hispanics and Blacks in the Bronx

    2) no ethnicity originated it, people as a whole did

    3)latino born/second generation arab/brit

  • "2) no ethnicity originated it, people as a whole did"

Which "people as a whole" originated it. Why did it develop in that specfic area?

  • Actually, more of them were Latinos, and from the 80's, like Mr. Freeze, he was caucasian.

Capoeira is Brazilian, not African, and Mr. Freeze stated, that they never saw Capoeira martial artists, they created bboying on their own. Only later on did they get influenced by it, way after bboying was created foundationally.

If toilet paper was created by African Americans, are you saying only they should use toilet paper, and you're going use leaves?

  • Hypothetically speaking if you believed that break dancing was a dance form that was developed in the continent of Africa would you think differently of it. Would you want to do it.

  • Wrong , actually Capoeira does not originate in Brasil , but rather in Angola , all I think edudrepus is saying is that simply blacks as a majority created b-boying , there were also some latinos in the mix , its a dance form that branched off of hip hop , which was also created by blacks

  • Bboying did not "branch off" of hip hop, it's one of the four main elements of hip hop, and it was around before Mcing (rapping) was even around.

First came the DJ. Right after that comes the bboy and/or graffiti art, and then LATER mcing came in to the mix.

  • It did not branch off of hip hop, it was hip hop before mcing was ever a part of hip hop, or even invented yet.

Bboying was never its own culture, it was always and still is a part of hip hop culture. That stuff you see on MTV, with 50 Cent, and girls booty dancing, is NOT hip hop, that is the media's version of it to sell records and make money, but not hip hop at all. It's the "pop" version of true hip hop.

  • dont get it twisted aiight ... all I'm stating here is that b-boying and hip hop was originally created by the same people , I'm not about to get in depth about which came first and what not , but it might be necceassary for alot of cats who particpate but dont know the origins

  • ....Why do you keep saying "bboying and hip hop?"

Bboying is hip hop, mcing is hip hop, djing is hip hop, graffiti is hip hop. Hip hop IS those four things, those four things make up what is known as "hip hop." Mcing and djing is hip hop music, bboying (popping/locking) is the hip hop dance forms, and graffiti is hip hop's form of paint art.

  • dude shut up and just break no one gives a damn bout da history on how it started it died wit hiphop dissagree wit me dont give a fuck, people spend more time on training on there speaking to prove a stupid point den acually training on there bboying and plus all ur info are old news go update urself foo

  • Hip hop is the name of the culture, and in that culture, there are four main elements that I just named for you. Mcing/rapping is NOT hip hop, it is hip hop music. Just as you said about Angola. Capoeira is NOT Angola, Capoeira is a fighting style of Angola. It's a part of the Angola culture, but you don't call Angola Capoeira, Capoeira is a part of what makes up Angola.

  • yo homie really went and gathered information on the topic , this converstion just took a curveball kid , my original intent was just a continuation of edudrepus comment about how b-boy was created by blacks , you stated earlier that Capoiera was Brazilian as if thats where it began , it was merely a continuation of it in a new place , that place being Angola , same people ... different landscape , nah mean?

  • Anyway with that said ... about the history of Hip Hop what you say is correct but that's not the issue , the real issue is alot of these cats who take it up around the globe don't have the slightest clue of its origins , funny as it sounds they probably think it began and came up in Korea or some shit which is a problem , so yea ... thats my mark on it

  • ....Nobody thinks bboying started in Korea lol.

The trend now is that everyone just thinks Korea is the best biggest they have the biggest moves and tricks, nobody thinks it started in Korea for crying out loud bro.

  • And I didn't go and gather information on the topic because of our dialogue, that information was already in my brain from long ago.

The reason edudrepus stated blacks made it, wasn't because people think asians created it, he stated it was created by blacks to tell us, that means, ONLY blacks should be allowed to do it, because edudrepus is a racist.

  • Please define what you mean by "hip hop," because you can't say, "bboying and hip hop," when in fact, bboying is a part of what makes up the culture of hip hop. Mcing is also a part of the culture of hip hop. Define what you mean when you say, "hip hop."

And stop making like bboying "branched off"

  • of hip hop, becuase bboying has been one of the forms of hip hop before mcing was even invented, and it never branched off. Yes the media showed a Hollywood version of it in the 80's, but the real underground cats who kept doing it did it in the culture of hip hop, from the 70's all the way up to now.

And don't say we even need to get in depth about which came first, bboying or mcing,

  • because it's plain and simple, bboying came first. In the 70's, DJ Kool Herc played his records in the South Bronx at a park, and guys who were there would start "going off" to the break of the record, and this "going off" became known as bboying. Mcing came later, where guys would start spitting rhymes to records at the block parties, while the Dj mixed, and the bboys breaked.

This is basic hip hop knowledge, there's no

  • debate about it, we know bboying came before mcing. I have sources more credible than you. Crazy Legs, the President of Rocksteady Crew agrees with this, so do KRS One, Ken Swift, Afrika Bambaata, the ENTIRE hip hop world (I'm not talking about mtv rap, I'm talking about the underground hip hop world which is the only real hip hop world). If a guy who claims to be a hip hopper doesn't even know this basic thing, it's like a basketball player not knowing who Michael Jordan is.

  • SAY WORD.

  • The logic is simple, you can't even grasp it.

  • Speaking as regards to being a bboy myself, dont be segragating ppl of its origins. Its FOR everyone, its a dance form, its an art of self-expression. I take it you dont break so u wouldnt kno anything about it

  • It is not for everyone. It is for them. They are the originators, you(if you don't have dark skin and curly hair) are the Imitators. You should stop it because you are only making a fool of yourself.

  • You should stop it because you are only making a fool of yourself........jus because i'm not of african desent..... listen to those words, it is the words of an ignorant person trying to sound smart and prove a point which exists only in your head. Jus reading that line, ESPECIALLY for the reason that ur giving me.....i honestly have nothing to say except that u should go find and talk to actual bboys from all over the world and say that to them.

  • I don't think basketball was started by negros either, but caucasians. Are the greats like Dr. J, Michael Jordan, legends and greats in basketball history, imitators, and should have never played basketball??

American Western culture, is shaped and based mainly on the two main older cultures and ideologies, which would be Greco-Roman philosophy, and Judeo-Christianity. Should America then end itself as a nation and stop doing everything it does,

  • because they are building off of these two main cultures that shape ours??

I just saw you're from Canada on your profile. I can guarantee, that many of the things that you yourself use in everyday life, from products, hey, even the stoplights you follow when driving your car. Why don't you just ignore those and drive through all of the red lights and use your reasoning to not use them, since it was an African American with dark skin, who invented the stoplight.

  • Wait though, you're Guyanese, are you then not of American indian descent? Why do you use the computer, it wasn't invented by the Guyanese. Do you play any sports there in Canada that wasn't invented by Guyanese people? Do you eat food that isn't Guyanese?

So stop being a hypocrite and take a look at yourself in the mirror. You're 23 years old, you have a brain, use reasoning and logic, not bigotry.

  • And if the creators of hip hop made it and said, "this is only for us, that's the rule," then you might have more of a point. But what they created was the philosophy of, hip hop is for everyone to bring everyone together under the community and culture of hip hop and love for it, regardless of origin ethnicity wise. And so yes, you're right, it is THEIR'S, so because of that, since THEY said they made it for the purpose of EVERYONE, then they have a right to say who it's for, not you,

  • and they say EVERYONE. So by true logic, and even by your twisted logic, it's a lose lose situation for you anyway.

  • good stuff bro, HolyfireMikey. You told that fool.

  • why are you saying that? you should do some research and thinking before you say stupid shit like that. Besides, lil john killed kamel.

  • your retarded if you think lil jon came close to k-mel

  • kamel destroyed lil john just with his poping!!! I'm a big lil john fan and i gotta say he got pwned

  • I dont agree so much that they shouldn't be allowed to participate yah mean , just that they acknowledge its roots and don't forget where it originated , now a days b-boying lost its touch in NYC compared to back in the 80's and 90's , primarily the face of b-boy today is asian , not that its an issue , but remember who you learned your entire repertoire from

  • Your just jealous that everyone wants to dance like african americans back in the day. Just because you can't dance doesn't mean you gotta hate. Or maybe your just racist and want to cause conflict.

  • I am indeed racist. Look up the definition of that word. Use Oxford.

  • ummm... No. Make me a cup of tea. Use lipton

  • you're a dumb fuck for talking about things you don't know shit about. first do your homework before you say anything. i recommend you watch the freshest kids before you ever say something about bboying again

  • The trailer seems to supplement, if not back up everything I am saying with with regards to, who invented it, who created it. If there were no Africans in America, there would be no Break dancing in America. It is their art form.

  • stop separating africans from the rest of the world. they might have different roots, costumes and shit, but they're still like everybody else. damn... racist mutherfackers... africans created it? ever heard of ken swift? crazy legs? and if it wasn't invented in america don't even doubt it would have been created somewhere else with the same conditions and environment... ever heard of capoeira?

  • You have proved my argument more than I could myself in your comment. I am indeed a racist.

  • I'm glad I did that.

  • you're all wrong. If it wasn't for the mix of cultures in NY, especially the Puerto Ricans and the African Americans, there would be no hiphop PERIOD. Cultural diversity lead to the creation of HIPHOP which is practically a cultural unity.

  • against sun damage, and delays the signs of aging.

So you hate an entire ethnicity, because they've developed an advantage against the sun, and aging? How is that logical?

  • I'm sorry are you responding to me?

  • actually b-boying has deeper roots in shaolin kung-fu and modern olympic gymnastics (which is derived from greek exercises) than it does african dance. if you want to assume that it's an african art form because a seemingly majority of the dancers are black, then take a look at rap/hip-hop which also belongs to the black community, yet it has been founded on the practice of sampling other artists. same deal. there hasn't been truly original ideas with untraceable origins for 100's of years.

  • shaolin kung fu??? now thats funny , what type of white powder have you been sniffing today? and that "modern day gymnastics" as you phrase is more like capoeira , which actually originated in Angola , nothing at all whatsoever to do with ...... "Greek exercises"

  • @renode not true, your confusing roots with influences.

Bboyings roots ARE in african dances and traditions, I think what you believe african dance is people stomping and swinging their arms right.

Bboys took moves inspired by ALL martial arts forms(kung fu, capoeira, wu-shu) and gymnastics and even yoga.

  • An African American created the street light. Do you follow the street lights? I'm sure you stop at a red light, and go when it's green right?

Hey bro, why be racist man, we're all humans, the only reason African Americans have dark skin, is a higher amount of a certain biological trait, known as melanin. All that is, is basically, it gives one more protection

  • this is way back 2002 watch el nino now ill respond on this video

  • sooooooooooooo sick!!!

  • lmao pookie crashed real bad

  • floor brats are amateur's.

  • to say any of the 4 b-boys in this battle are amateurs lets me know that you're on drugs... literally

  • dude realize thats 2002 nigga this is 2007 and kmel is an og bboy.and he can pop.

  • haha thats cool and all but K-Mel is really all that old school yo, he's only 27 I think, he's from the generation right before this one

og's are like Lean-o, Float, Ness, Kenny, Poe, Icey, even older and a lil younger than them

  • leano and float are mad cool im in thier crew yeah but still he is an og he beat allot of ogs.

  • haha that's whassup man, are ya'll flying out to Cali for FSS this year???

  • forgive my naivety...whos the lil kid who took his shirt off wif the hedspins?

  • that's El Niño from Floor Lords/Flava Squad

he was part of the winning team with Powerful Impact that took Evolution3 this year in Florida, he's 18 now I think

  • 16 years old now

  • bboy el-nino

  • Plz anyone, what's that last jam called?

  • tight

  • anyone know the name of the songs

  • I think the first song is called "Amen Brother" by The Winstons, not sure about the rest, that last song is sickening tho, I'd like to get my hands on it too

  • thnk

  • thanx dude ive been looking 4 that song 4 a while. do u know any other good breaking songs?

  • K-Mel (and El Nino) wrecked those dudes. I've seen Lil' John and Moy doing the same moves for about 4 years now, those kids need to step it up.

  • this was about 4 or 5 years ago when those moves were fresh homie

they're still nasty, can't knock on them for that

  • who won ??

  • K-Mel & El Niño

  • so far so good

  • Dope as Hell

  • love it. just absolutely loving it.

  • disguuuuusting battle.
