I agree with everything you wrote except that pigeons are aggressive. Or let me ask you what your version of aggressive is...do you mean with people or each other?

Here's a little fact most people don't know..pigeons and doves do not bite or attack with their beak. If they are showing aggression they try to slap ya with their wing. That hurts!

What pretty birds. I think Hawk is a male by his behavior. Pretty sure Mona Lisa is a female, but time will tell. Have fun. Mary

We rehabbed a pigeon, it took him a while to fly away when he was ready. He flew once around the house and then was gone. There was a band on his leg so he probably flew home.
