@nunnukanunnuka1 you didnt do your research well my dear commenter. Vector Prime has fixed the sound system error and most crashes. The problem is though, that the publishers don't want to commit these fixes. The only one who wants to do this, is GOG.
I have played Haegemonia: Legions Of Iron, very amazing si-fi stradagy based game and the fact you can colonize planets, research tech, build fleets of space craft, space stations and alot more. I have to say though, after watching this video. Haegemonia: Vector Prime is quite amazing it self, the cool space craft from Star Wars was interesting. I may buy it and play it someday.
i would love 2 play Haegemonia - The Solon Heritage but after about 20mins of playin, i get taken bak to desktop, with a message about sytem error, so anoying ;(
@dirtbag007 Once I was able, to jump back to the game, and the only bug I found was the music looping. Is it possible that muting the ingame music is enough? (leaving the effects and the other intact)? It would be still sad, the music adds a lot to the gameplay...
@dirtbag007 Thanks. BTW it turned out to be the other way around. Music is good, but when I zoomed on my battleship the game crashed when it should play that deep sound of the battleship's engine. Oh, just remembered: I don't need gog, I can buy both games in one, from a store, at a very, VERY low price.
i have to agree with Dirt. Dude just because you don't know how to play the game or your tactics aren't good doesn't mean the game sucks. And if you don't like it then go play a different game. The game from my point is awsome i'm playing it and its absolutly awsome in detail. Personaly i love when you go into battles sound effects and everything is just awsome
A VSD has 2 ion drives and the wings, a ISD has 3 Ion drives, 1 Main, and 2 wing drives(this what they are called, even though an ISD has no wingsl, I am very impressed with this, good work on the Vector prime mod!
The one at 1:48. I can't tell the difference between the Victory and the Imperial class destroyers. The victory is smaller, but here I dont have a point of reference.

I will have to respectfully disagree with you. Nexus may have the best ENGINE effects, but the shields make no impact sounds of their own when hit, and instead of a unique texture that appears where they were hit, the shields just become visible at the point of impact.
Meanwhile, Haegemonia has unique shield textures and sounds for each race, each weapon produces a different impact effect on a shield, and has its own sound. effect.
it's completely shit with soundsystem crash erros....can't believe that they sell this pile of crap

if it is a sound system error, turn all volumes down to 0. It wastes some of the atmosphere of the game, but you can still play then.

I am criticising the explosions mostly when the ships blow up...only 1 small explosion and the whole ship disappears that annoys me most.

you might need a DLL file. It tells that in the error message. Just search the dll then on google or similar ;)
