  • Actually Dewey Rowell was the Guy who played Flattus on the first couple Albums who was replaced by Pete Lee around the early mid 90s.

  • smoking a joint during the interview, AWESOME!!!!

  • These dudes are batshit crazy....I love it.

  • Mike Derks is Balsac. He is in the background during most of the video. He is the guy leaning on the guitar and the one who says that they need serial numbers on everything.

  • Can anyone tell me who Mike Derks is, like when he's in screen? =]

  • @coley4evr I replied upon who Derks is.

  • @goderaj Thanks so much, I assumed he was the one with the guitar since that's what he plays but I wasn't sure.

  • @coley4evr

the guy in the background talking with teh white shirt and the black jacket.

  • does anyone know how tall david is? on joan rivers he looked huge

  • wow, i didnt of these ppl untill like 96!

  • dave's stoned.

  • dammit. i've only been to two shows. what happens if you go to three shows? i must know!! will i die? please someone tell me!

nippleus looks and sounds like he's a bit sloshed. it's crazy how young brockie looks, he must have just turned 21. i'm glad they replaced nippleus, i don't think they could have come this far with him. as much respect as i have for mosby for being the original gwar drummer, his replacement, brad roberts, is just a beast on the drums and is perfect for gwar.

  • @whyhatestrangers brad didnt replace him, he replaced the REPLACEMENT for him ;)

  • @dudeononewheel well then, in theory, brad still replaced nippy. wasn't brad just supposed to sit in or something and was asked to join? i can't remember where i heard that or maybe i made it up. i dunno, i've smoked a lot of crack,

  • I respect this band so much. The hard work they have put in throughout the years is astounding. Go buy an album and keep these hard workers fed.

  • man.....detroit in the 80's.....at blondies......tough ass shit!

  • this. is . amazing..perfect. magnificent.

  • looovvvveeee him so much

  • why does dave look like a dwarf in this?!?!? o.O

  • This show is 7/12/1988 Detroit, MI

  • its weird to see dave brockie that young!!

  • @AndyDrew003

his fucking sexy when his like 20 huh!

  • @frobinhood lol, damn right

  • I love You Tube for great archival footage like this from one of my favorite bands at a venue that no longer exist in my hometown. Happy 25th Gwar!

  • @bassplace88 fuck yeah!!! this is my home town too. sooooo much ill shit went down up in that bar!

  • @bassplace88 Um, Yeah it does....Blondies is going strong.

  • @insigbabl The Blondies name continues, but the original venue was on 7 mile in NW Detroit, and not Downtown like is now. Thought about checking it out, but have yet to do so.

  • @bassplace88 You know what, I forgot about that change in location. It was at Telegraph and 7 mile, right? Isn't it the same ownership group, though? At any rate, my bad, your right

  • @insigbabl Well it was closer to Evergreen in a pretty tough neighborhood. The same owner operates the one on Fort St. I was only there once and I'm trying really hard to remember who I went to see. I think it was Detroit's own Seduce.

  • @bassplace88 Ok. Yeah, I only went there once too. The night of my 11th grade prom (I went to Taylor Kennedy), my buddy and I took our girls to see Bloodshot, another forgettable Detroit metal band from the early 90's.

  • Dave when he still had the hellaciously awesome southern accent!

  • FUCKING AWESOME!!

  • Great stuff!
