I don't support this ban. 1. You can't stop it, for every one taken down, another 10 pops up. we are failing as much as this war against online gambling as much as we failed at the Vietnam war. 2. how can we track it? 3. these casino owners need to stop whining about these online gambling sites, one, we are "supposedly" capitalist. which means competition is allowed. these casino owners are soiling the very FOUNDATION of the US constitution.

The problem with online gambling is the lack of tax revenue it generates for the countries of the players. As anyone who goes broke gambling generally becomes a financial burden to the state, then I fully understand (and support) the US ban.

The US govt. allows its people more freedom (including the right to defend themselves) than any other country. I don't think a govt. that values individual freedom and liberty so highly would impose this ban without good reason.

Perhaps they don't want their citizens being ripped off?

The one and only issue i find myself in disagreement with Buchanan. I totally see his point in that gambling for hours in front of a computer screen has no positive effect for society, instead potentially very negative ones, and it also transfers our wealth outside the US. And let's face it, internet gambling has ruined lives. But this is america, if we want to gamble we should be able to. This is one of those issues where he should personally condemn it but not enforce his views on others.

Wow...what a fair interview. I disagree with Pat and he makes a lot of good points about what's wrong with republicans today (I'm more of a libertarian than he is, not a traditionalist), but this is one of the most one sided discussions I've ever seen. The guy has the nerve to claim Pat is for the gambleing at the end of the segment even when he clearly was just arguing against it. Pretty pathetic
