This is amazing! Just put the lyrics up on a projector so people know what to sing... If you don't have a projector, trust God for the finances and even ask some local Christian businesses if they would donate one, and take up an offering.
Thank you very much for the comment! :) There is a projector and there are three screens with lyrics... this was a new song and a Wednesday night... te crowd was always straggling in and with the combination of stragglers and the fact that it was 'new' to them... not that great of participation but we kind of expected that. I just praise God that so many people online have enjoyed it. Thanks again! God bless you!
The church is Called LifeSong - it's in Ashland, KY. Thank you for the comment. I'm at a different church now, closer to home, but I miss my LifeSong family! (The drummer is a professional who used to play for lots of popular bands so his beats are always choice... he's a great guy!)
at the same time its good that people are making an effort to attend church in this day and age where everyone seems more concerned about ME rather than HIM. I understand I play bass for our praise band and there were times when people just stood there lookin bored. But we carried on and let God do His thing and we made more of an effort to be more lively. The congregation is starting to come around and get more into the music but it is process especially for a mostly "seeker" church like ours
What's the deal with the girl in the second row. She keeps looking around like she's trying to find a door to run out of. Too bad nobody in the audience is "Singing to the King!"
Nobody knew this song yet - it was the first time we'd done it... but you're right. Sometime's it's disheartening to see that few people are into praising God while we're up there pouring our hearts out to Him. :(
Haha. Just informing. It's really funny because Billy Foote wrote all these amazing songs (Amazing Love, Sing To the King, You Are God Alone...etc) and not many people know who he is. And his wife, Cindy, is an amazing worship leader. They have lots of great songs and tabs posted on billy foote dot com. =)
We have the same thing at our church (people just stand their and look bored and not having their minds on God and looking around) ... I am the worship leader and we pour our hearts in worship and work hard on learning new material and it seems everyone mind is somewhere else and not on God ... I don't understand why they come to church then if they don't feel like worshipping God ... this is our whole purpose in going to church. I just wish they would get more involved in worship.
i understand. but it's not we "feel" like worshipping- those who know Him worship regardless. but sadly those who do not Know Him personally and intimately won't worship Him. & they shouldn't pretend. :) Thank God they at least come & hear His Word. Hopefully they will know Jesus as King one day! be encouraged! Be blessed!

Drums are a little overpowering.

Hahah yeah the acoustics in the place were terrible. They eventually went with an electronic kit to help with that. Thanks for your comment. =)

Good praise and worship by the whole band. I like the drum beats. Please post more. Curious - what church is this?

Thanks for the info MeggieMeggs. I trust that you obeyed God and moved to another church and God would make sure that everything would be just fine.
