Those trails look AMAZiNG, I just rode Mt. Washington the other day and it's such an awesome mountain, But If you compare whistler to Mt. Washington, Whistler's black diamonds look like blues at mt. washington. So I'm really looking forward for the smooth, flowy trails that whistler has to offer.

@killacelica yo warm up on this track it fun smooth and rasy to ride if u want some extreme badass fun though go for a-line and dirt merchant and freight train those are the trails that will really get your adrenaline goin, dont get me wrong though crank it up is a beuty trail too

the video quality is not good as compare to other HD gopro videos. It's just recoded this way or these cameras really so different?

It's nice you have such the parks to ride in, we have to build it all ourselves and ours smaller in size as a result

This was the very first video I've taken using one of the GoPro HD pre-production prototypes. The lighting was not ideal and neither was the mounting. I might have over compressed it before upload as well.

You are right, the GoProHD shines, you can see that in never video we have in our channel.

We wanted to leave this video up since we love that trail and Whistler in general. As soon as the snow melts we'll be off making more GoPro videos from different trails.

That is to say "WHEN" the GoPro works. Mine has given me more problems than I care to discuss: memory card format issues, batteries dying randomy and turning off camera during action, inability to record in .AVI (only .MP4, basically requiring the use of Apple editing software). The constant clicking sound from the mounting clips is rather annoying, too. VHOLDR CONTOUR HDs don't have ANY of those issues.

1080p: 1920x1080 pixels, 30 fps, 12 Mbit/s data rate

960p: 1280x960 pixels, 30 fps, 10 Mbit/s data rate

720p: 1280x720 pixels, 30 fps with 7.5 Mbit/s data rate,

or 60 fps with 15 Mbit/s data rate

I understand that, in fact I already have done much of the upload. I have the standard GoPro and also bought a new CONTOUR HD. For a 5 minutes HD (MOV) takes around 190Mb can be uploaded about an hour on a standard connection. It just takes sometime but the quality is good. Tnx 4 the response

I had less tan 10 mins to use this camera. GoPro would not let me have this prototype for any longer :-)

I was wearing an old Giro helmet which had a lot of play in it (hence the shaking).

Keep your eyes on our channel as I will be uploading a short ski video filmed last weekend.

GoPro assured me that their videos were created using standard mounts and were not enhanced

Can't wait for more user footage. We shipped couple of hundred units so far so I'm sure it's coming sooner than later.
