They seem to think that simply reciting stories while behaving in a weird or absurd manner constitutes humor. as for carlin, he was over rehearsed and boring. his rants didn't seem spontaneous in the least and were little more than him reciting a list of grievances against society and expecting people to laugh because they agreed with him. he was good when he was younger though
