  • What time does FRVT arrive at South Braintree Yard (Grossman Park)? Is this location (where you're filming from) the north or south end of the yard?

    I want to catch this sometime. (no car so I'll be taking the red line)

  • Fore River is a mid-day operation M-F and CSX shows up and switches around Midnight. Another good place to catch Fore River is at The Braintree Co-Op Bank parking lot, the ex- Burger King on Quincy Ave in Quincy just as they leave the old shipyard. The bank is only a few feet from the ROW. Some days it's just one trip others multiple trips. I guess it's based on what P&G is mixing. Tide laundry detergent anyone?

  • Ive seen CSX pick up these tankers in that yard multiple times, ive just never caught the Fore River locomotive/train before.
