A great job on the 1959 Frankie Ford classic. Herman's Hermits also covered "Sea Cruise" as the flip side of their 1965 "Just A Little Bit Better" single. The Hondells features amongst their ranks Chuck Girard, formerly of the Castells. He went on to front Love Song and has made impressive inroads since then with a series of great solo Gospel albums.
That's Classic! I also love the guy "playing" the drums at 2:20. Looks like they forgot the drumsticks for the shoot! The Go-Go dancers make up for it!! 5 stars!
Actually, if you look carefully, you'll see that the drummer is holding drumsticks. He's using the standard jazz grip with his left. You can just make out the end in his left hand over the snare but the cymbal completely hides his right hand and stick. On the other hand, with those gyrating go-go dancers, maybe he's using another stick altogether.
A little beauty then and still now. Your art work is excellent! Life must be somewhat good in Hawaii and relaxing. I'm now in Oregon, a refugee from San Pedro and still looking out the window at the ocean but no Catalina!
More like two-and-a-half women. The tiny girl on the left at 0:30 and dancing on the boat at 1:24 is Playboy Playmate Karla Conway. She was only 4'11", but she sure was a cutie -- for a midget!
Sure, I remember. Linda Moon was the cute bright-eyed blonde who was Miss October 1966. And Susan Bernard, Miss December of that year, played the wimpy girl in Russ Meyer's "Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!" A LOT of us guys had those Playboy centerfolds in a handy location in our bedrooms.
BTW, Karla Conway has been a successful artist for many years under the name Sachi, a shortened form of her birth name Karla Jo Musacchia. She's especially known for her portraits of rock stars.
so white bread...absolutely polished of any threat...is this a Saturday Night Live bit?

Have never heared of this band before. It sounds a bit like the Beach Boys, or? I must say that I like the sound of the band.

um Carla Conway. I use to keep her centerfold in my nightstand next to the bed. Do you remeber Linda Moon?
